01 // The fight behind the festival

Ang kalye
ay para sa masa.

Kalye Tunes is a concert-for-a-cause. The fight is the reason the night exists: for the Toboso 19, for Pook Amorsolo, and for every community told to make way.

We stand with the families of Alyssa Alano, Maureen Santuyo, Errol Wendel, and RJ Ledesma, killed by the AFP. Hindi ito aksidente. We stand with the residents of Pook Amorsolo against demolition. The music is loud so the calls for justice can be louder.

01

Hustisya para sa Toboso 19

No impunity. Justice for Alyssa, Maureen, Errol, RJ, and the rest of the Toboso 19.

02

Zero eviction

Defend Pook Amorsolo. Housing is a right, not a demolition order.

03

Development for all

Public funds for services, not fascism. Pondo sa serbisyo, hindi sa pasismo.

Kadamay

Founded on November 7, 1998, Kadamay is the largest alliance of urban poor organizations in the Philippines — the militant center of the Filipino urban poor. It organizes a long-term struggle to eradicate poverty and build a just, free, and prosperous society.

Its fight is concrete: land and housing, jobs and livelihood, basic social services, and democratic rights. Collective action and militant action are how the urban poor win.

SIKAD

SIKAD co-presents Kalye Tunes: UP Fair Wednesday. Its mark — two figures advancing together, one with a raised fist — carries the call that runs through the night: collective action, cultural resistance, and art in service of the people.

The name points forward. SIKAD is the push, the pedal, the refusal to be left behind. In the Kalye Tunes coalition, that push is cultural and political — a commitment to stand with the urban poor and the fight for a just, free, and prosperous society.

03 // Meet the hosts

The voices
behind the night.

Kalye Tunes doesn't run on music alone. Between the acts, six hosts keep the night moving — introducing the class, holding the pauses, and reminding the crowd what the fair is for.

Four come from Maroon FM, UP Diliman's first and only pop, new media, FM radio organization. Two are the resident hosts who know the Sunken Garden by heart.
